Youth eMHFA
Youth Mental Health First Aid

The Youth MHFA Wales course teaches adults how to provide Mental Health First Aid to young people. We have a number of staff who have completed this course.
Some of the benefits of staff completing the Youth eMHFA training are as follows:
- the programme is effective at increasing knowledge regarding mental health problems
- the programme effectively decreases negative attitudes toward those suffering from mental ill health.
- Youth MHFA intervention is effective in increasing the number of times help is offered.
